WHY THE TLC SKILLVERSE
TLC’s community members have expressed, time and again, that they wish there were a dedicated place where they could connect with like-minded researchers and find collaborators for their projects. Importantly, they weren’t only looking for collaborators for new data collection efforts. They asked for statistics support, guidance for using a new-to-them measure or method, advice for publishing in a particular journal, a collaborator for a manuscript, and so on.

Whether you’re looking for advice about incorporating a new measure or method into your research, seeking someone to help you run a few unfamiliar analyses, or need a collaborator for a grant proposal you’re drafting, the TLC Skillverse has you covered!

HOW TO GET STARTED
To ensure the TLC Skillverse is as useful of a resource as possible for researchers studying topics related to love and social connection, only TLC members will be given access to the platform. Currently, TLC membership is defined as engaging with The Love Consortium in any way (e.g., attending a TLC event, signing up for our listserv, posting a dataset description on TLCDv or GGDv—nearly 2,000 of you!).
Starting in 2026, we will be introducing a more formal opt-in membership model, developed in partnership with our Advisory Board members. We’ll share the full details in the coming months, but our goal is to design a model that balances sustainability with broad accessibility. In advance of that, we couldn’t wait to share this new resource with our current members!
